We live in stressful times.
With these uncertain times, stress is at an all-time high.
I hear more and more people speak about feeling isolated, having anxiety like they never have before, and experiencing physical pain from the stress they are carrying in their bodies.
Stress causes you to wake up every morning with knots in your stomach, wishing the loss you sustained was a bad dream. Dragging out of bed after another night of tossing and turning leaves you even more stressed.
Grief has you completely paralyzed.
You can’t stop thinking about your loved one while others who are still living are begging you still to have a relationship. But you can’t give to them until you heal the gut-wrenching loss you have suffered.
You took your friend’s advice to get back to your normal routine. Your sister encouraged you to start back on journaling. However, every time you pick up the pencil, the tears start flowing, and you can’t complete the task.
The thought of returning to work sounds horrible; what will your co-worker say that might tip you into another cryfest?
You’ve picked up the phone several times to seek help, but every time, you tell yourself it will get better. But to be truthful, that isn’t the case.
Don’t put off seeking the help you need.
Stress and grief are sometimes hard to overcome alone, and this is where Individual Therapy offers relief.
Now is the time for us to work together in Individual Therapy. Let us address these difficult times by understanding the patterns that keep you stuck, acknowledging the reoccurring messages you send yourself, and recalibrating for a new you.
The time is now; give me a call or email, and let’s begin the healing process.
